How does Z slash compare to ArcSaber 8-DX ?. Anyone tried it ?
I heard that ArcSaber 8-DX is the newest in the ArcSaber series, borrowing the material from Z and borrowing the design from previous ArcSaber.

completely different.....more similar to Arc10 with higher BP.....a nice all around racket

sblmnya maaf ya pake bhs Indonesia..

bbrp minggu yg lalu baru beli arc z-slash..pertama kali pegang cukup terasa heavy head..lucunya frame lebih kecil dibanding raket yy yg lain..setelah nyoba main di lapangan, mantab bgt buat main menyerang..smash lebih powerfull..fyi sy pake BG66 tarikan 28 digital..

kesimpulannya recommended buat yg suka main menyerang..

    mod edit (translated version):

a few weeks ago i just bought an ARC Z-Slash. First feel the racket is a bit head heady though its frame is smaller compared to other YY rackets. After playing with this racket, this racket is very good at offensive play and my smash is more powerful. FYI, i use BG-66 with tension of 28 (digital).

my conclusion: the racket is recommended for offensive player.

Lain kali harap menggunakan bahasa inggris yah.

DX, Z is built for attack......amazing powerful but numb feel especially when defense, very small sweet spot also make it more difficult to adjust for player which used to play with ISO frame...Z sweet spot even smaller than TC700

So, Yonex seem succesfull in their attempt to optimize Z shaft : slimmer, longer, new material. Probably that's an answer to gosen's two kick point system, victor's spiral wind, and head's power helix system, all are intented to optimize the shaft. But yonex seem failed / only partial success in optimizing maneuverability (too many trade off). They must go to the wind tunnel again and design another version of Z with aerodynamic frame instead of smaller and smaller frame.

    bloody hell.....
i thought on first page post no. 1 already mention the review completely....

    my review???
shaft as stiff as my prevous at900t

quicker shot, due to the slim frame and shaft, also because the balance of the racquet itself.

power wise if i'm not mistaken then good will preferable i think, need more and more practice as this one has smaller frame compare to its peers.

drop shot, i love drop shot with this toy, defence a little bit slow but better than armortec series.

so far i think this toy suitable both for single and double use, specially rear man in double play.

but for single play, i still prefer at700 because its raw power....

    hope this help..

so, do you think this Slash has flexible shaft or stiff shaft?
First time when I hold an sp coded, it seems like a bit flex.
But when I hold an Ip code it is little bit stiff.
Any different in flex Sp and Ip code?

i rate sp code as flexible, but ip as stiff.... surely different stiffness
    mine was ip code...

NBG98 is the most repulsive string from YY, are u sure the prob came from your string/tension? Z is very demanding racket, u have to hit exactly on the sweetspot otherwise your stroke will gone nowhere....try to adapt first then if prob still there analyze your tension or u can use your usually string and tension....personally i think NBG98 with 26lbs is nice combination :) i use that string at 26lb also....

Personally my opinion, performance of string and tension also depend on own shuttlecock. Because i have experience play with same racket but different shuttlecock brand (i think it isn't BWF's standard) are different my play performance (power, repulsion, feeling etc).

hahaha yes of course, there was many things for that issue ( i remember west java shuttlecock style) but @math didnt mention about the shuttle so i assume he using his ordinary shuttle...he is concern about lack of power and normally we will guess the problem would be string, tension or the racket itself :)
btw it was nice input too...thx for your share bro wkkwkwkw

i mean that my problem was i dont have enough power (not a power player) hhe...
so do you think nbg 98 at 26 is already good enough? what string will you recommend for replacing ngb 98, bcoz its too pricey....

for me yes, 26lb is enough....higher or lower makes me suffer hihihihi but it depends on ur strenght, i'm weak player too and tend to control the shuttle than smash....
Zymax 67 or BG85.....both have nice repuls and control...btw we're OOT, wkwkwkwkkw u can open a new thread about the string and we'll survive from admin anger wkwkwkwkwk

You can try ZM 67 or Li Ning AP 90 at 26 Lbs (electric machine), it more cheaper than NBG 98 and more longer durability (personal opinion).
